Clustering: Specializing in design, setup, and maintenance of hosted clustering systems. We currently support RedHat cluster system including GFS with SAN or network block device. We also support Windows Cluster Services for SQL Server, Exchange, file Serving, and most other cluster-aware applications (as well as many that can be easily adapted for the environment).
Networking: Comprehensive knowledge of network design, topology, physical layout, installation, planning, purchasing, monitoring, and implementation. We also have extensive knowledge in setting up VPNs for enterprises using combinations of site-to-site and "roaming user" profiles.
Networking Equipment: Experience configuring and installing Cisco firewalls, Cisco routers, Foundry Network load balancers, and other dedicated network hardware.
Software Specialties: Installation and tuning of Millennium 3 payroll system. Sendmail installation, tuning, and custom extensions.
Server Software: In depth knowledge of VMWare, Linux, Windows NT/2000/2003. Extensive knowledge with setup, configuration, and operation of: sendmail, apache, bind, MySQL, MS SQL, Exchange, XNTP3, Samba, fetchmail, wu-ftp, ProFTP, BeroFTP, FreeSwan, Apache-SSL, ssh, autorpm, qpopper, Nagios(NetSaint), Exchange, IIS, most servers shipped with Windows, and many, many other UNIX services.
Virtualization: We provide design services and tuning of virtualized environments for hosting or high availability applications
SQL Server: Tuning, customizing, installation, backing up, configuring, clustering, replicating, and troubleshooting.
Applications: Extensive experience in installing centralized virus protection using Norton AV, McAfee AV, and Trend. Extensive experience in installing and running most Microsoft applications. Experience running and troubleshooting most common desktop applications (Palm integration, Act!, etc...).
Security: Experience with Linux IP Tables, IP Chains, ipfw, Cisco PIX firewalls, Cisco ACLs, log auditing packages, Intel LanRover VPN boxes, IPsec, SNORT, NTOP, Tripwire, and setting up practical Internet firewalls.
Programming: Perl, C, C++, x86 assembly, shell (sh), Visual Basic, Visual C++, MS Access, VBA, and PHP.
Telephony: PBX installation, and wiring. Administering Altigen and Asterisk systems.
Facilities: Working knowledge of facility wiring requirements, National Electric Code, power distribution, cabinet wiring. Experience designing and building out systems for data center installation (including power planning, and general capacity planning).
Design: Proven track record of reliable hosting systems using fully redundant systems and high availability clusters.
